Fault Descriptions | Fault Analysis | Fault Clearing |
Vacuum degree | 1. acuum Pump breaks down.
2. Vacuum pipe has leakage. 3. Vacuum pump oil is insufficient. 4. Vacuum pump oil is polluted, dirtied and emulsified. 5. The exhaust gas contains much water. | 1. Refer to the vacuum pump manual book. 2. Check the leakage portion and stop the leakage. 3. Add enough vacuum pump oil. 4. Change new oil.
5. It is normal condition. Stop purifier. |
Oil or water | 1. Oil level in vacuum container is too high causing the oil is sucked into the cooler and then pumped into vacuum pump. Too much water in the cooler causes the water is sucked into vacuum pump. 2. Vacuum degree is too high. | 1. Clear the vacuum pump, change vacuum pump oil and drain off condensate water. |
Working vacuum pump and motor stop halfway and temperature rises. | Voltage is too low, fluctuation frequency is too large and thus thermal relay protection starts. | Suspend operation and prohibit force start. |
Inlet oil mass | Oil level in vacuum container is too low and inlet oil filter is blocked by impurities. | Increase oil mass and clean or change the filter element |
Outlet oil mass decreases and value of pressure meter is increased. | Primary filter and fine filter are blocked by impurities. | Clean or change the filter elements. |
Outlet oil contains air bubble, outlet oil mass decreases or even no oil is pumped out in high vacuum degree, and noise is loud. | 1. Air leakage happens to the shaft seal of gear pump. 2. Air leakage happens to the oil inlet fitting and the pipe. 3. Vacuum degree is too high. | 1. Change oil seal.
2. Check and repair, or change seal gasket. |
Inlet oil is insufficient, and outlet oil pressure exceeds 0.4Mpa. | Oil filter is blocked. | Clean filter element |
After heating, | 1. Temperature sensor is loosened, or desquamated. 2. Wire contact situation of heater is poor. 3. The circuit has a short circuit. 4. Heating pipe is broken. 5. Temperature control switch is off. 6. Oil level of oil storage and heating container is not high enough, or there is no oil. | 1. Fasten the temperature sensor.
2. Check and repair, or change wire. 3. Check and repair. 4. Change the heater. 5. Switch on the temperature control. 6. Start vacuum pump, and add oil the oil storage and heating container. |
Oil after | 1. Oil contains much water. 2. Temperature is not high enough.
3. Filter mesh is broken. 4. After last operation, the equipment is not cleaned before using. 5. Vacuum degree is too low. | 1. Try several times. 2. Increase the heating temperature and time. 3. Check and repair, or change. 4. Clean the equipment.
